PRINCIPLE OF OPERATION
The flat bottom cylinder design of the Batch Processor bowl permits the lower blade to ride at the bottom of the bowl, and to extend to the outer edge. The upper blade is placed at the optimum height for the bowl capacity (some models permit height adjustment of the upper blade) and extends to the outer edge. This unique S-Blade and cylindrical bowl design afford thorough mixing of a wide range of materials, preventing any from escaping the cutting action of the blades. High-speed rotation of the S-Blade assembly in a counter-clockwise direction, coupled with the bowl design, creates a VORTEX ACTION causing the material to be forced horizontally outward and up to the center and then downward in a circular motion toward the blades. This multiple directional rotation assures intensive cutting and mixing of the material.
